PJ - Yesterday at dinner time, I fed PJ his wet food and he immediately starting eating.  I added some dry food to it and he stopped eating.  So, I grabbed the spoon and tried to mix it so the wet food was on the top.  It must’ve been okay, his bowl was empty this morning. :)  This morning, dry food in the bowl first and the wet food on top.  I think he liked that better!

I love your dog!  Anytime you need a pet sitter, I will do it!  He reminds me of my 12 yr old yellow lab Sam when he was younger!  Stoli was really sweet and he did just great on the leash.  We did see a couple of dogs but he did just fine.  (They weren’t all that close to us.)  When we were crossing the street and he had to wait, he even sat down. :)  He peed several times and he pooped too.  Sophie came down to say hi too and I think she wanted outside but I didn’t let her out.

Casper - Casper and I walked all the way around the circle today and then he still wanted to keep going so we did!

Brady & Ferguson - We took a long walk and then headed in the house when it started to rain a little harder.  Brady chewed on a bone and Ferguson got a bunch of petting from me.

Max - It took Max quite awhile to walk up but when he did, he got and went outside to pee.

Dusty - Dusty enjoyed his trot around the neighborhood.  I can tell he is feeling much better.  I like his haircut too - he looks very handsome!

I am spending Wed and Thurs at the Quail Hollow Championship and lucky for me, I have a couple of people filling in for me with my regular pet sitting clients, except for Hanna.

Hanna - Hanna misses you.  She really barks when I come in and yesterday she even jumped on me as if to say, “I’m so glad you’re here.”  I’ve been throwing her toy for her in the yard and when we come inside, I give her a treat.  I’ve been feeding all of the fish and today I gave the hermit crab some more water and a little more food.

Hanna - I finally found Hanna’s barbells this morning.  They’d rolled underneath the couch… I knew they had to be somewhere.  So of course, I take them outside for her not thinking that she was going to get really excited and bark… and it was only 7:30am.  After a few barks, she peed and then I thought we should head back inside before we woke up all of your neighbors!

Maggie- Maggie and I had 2 good walks today and we managed to miss the rain.  The afternoon walk was a little iffy as to whether or not we would but we made it!

Lucy - We had a nice walk.  It actually got a little warm while we were out walking…. I think I got warm b/c she really walks.  She doesn’t stop and sniff like most dogs…. she goes!

Guinness - He stride to eat a piece of paper… he listed to me when I said “drop.”  He did.  He pooped 2x while were were out!

Casper - Casper and I had 2 long walks today.  (I say long… long for his short little legs.  We went halfway around the circle both visits.)  He did just great on the leash.  I kept him over on my left side the entire time and he didn’t try to cut over in front of me at all.  Now he would stop and sniff occasionally but all and all, he did great.  He loved it too.

Brady & Ferguson - when we got back into the house after our walk, Fergie went running after Brady.  He caught up with him, grabbed his tail so Brady is still running and Fergie has ahold of his tail.  It looked pretty funny but Brady didn’t look happy at all so I made them stop.

Sunny, Louis & Lola - It was nice to walk them again.  The boys enjoyed their walk and Lola seemed a little timid at first about going out but once she was out there, she seemed to enjoy it too!  Both of the boys pooped.  Lola just peed.

Cleo - Major rain clouds rolled in as I pulled into your driveway.  I hooked on Cleo’s leash and we got outside right away.  She seemed content to hang close to the house which was fine with me (it was thundering at this point but not yet raining.)  She peed and pooped, we headed into the house and by the time I left, it was raining!

Max - Max got up the stairs really easily today.  He hopped right up!

Dusty - The mailman stopped to talk to Dusty today!  We got his walk in just before some more rain clouds rolled in and of course, he enjoyed his early dinner!

Hanna - Hanna banana is doing good!  Yesterday I took the barbells outside both visits and threw them for her.  I couldn’t find them this morning… I’ll have to look a little more for them next visit.  They’re definitely there somewhere!

Sadie - Sadie and I had a nice walk this morning, it was pretty outside.  She did her usual sniffing and she peed several times and of course she pooped too.  Last night we had a good visit too… pretty much the same thing:  eating, sniffing, peeing and pooping

Chester & Bailey - They’re both doing just great.  Shannon saw them for the first 2 visits yesterday (hence no post on the blog.  She left you notes at the house.)  When I walked in last night, Chester was on his dog bed.  He looked at me and then he just rolled over on his side so I could rub on him.  It was a quick rub…. I knew Bailey would be ready to get out of her crate.  This morning they both enjoyed their breakfast and then a walk around the park.  Chester pooped but Bailey didn’t.  They both needed the ointment in their eyes this morning so I put it in.

Sadie - Sadie got to see a couple of cats on the walk this morning and of course, she did lots of sniffing just like she always does.

Jay & Chloe - Every visit is pretty much a repeat of the last:  throw the tennis ball for Jay!  She loves that thing!!  Chloe has been doing good staying of the counters since yesterday. 

Sadie - Sadie is doing just fine.  It’s been sprinkling off and on…. we’ll see if we get caught in it tonight.  So far we’ve been pretty lucky.

Jay & Chloe - Jay didn’t care that it was raining this morning… she still wanted to play.

Sadie - Sadie and I walked in a very light rain this morning.  She didn’t mind at all (and I didn’t either for that matter!)  She still took care of all of her business!  Last night we enjoyed a leisurely stroll and then some more couch time!  Yesterday midday we took a quick little cruise up the street too!

Jay & Chloe - It had stopped raining by the time I got to your house but it had been sprinkling some b/c Jay’s feet need to be wiped off before we came back in the house!  Wiping her feet is a bit challenging…. she likes it when she can get her face in mine!!

Happy Earth Day!

Easter and Homer - Homer was more than ready to go outside and pee this morning.  Easter was the one I was thinking would be really ready but she was fine to stay by me at first…. I think she wanted her breakfast!  I fed them, gave them a big, fresh bowl of water and a treat before I left.

Sadie says:  “Happy Birthday Mom!  I hear that you’re having fun and that it is really pretty.  The dog walker told me that.  I think she’s jealous!  We are having fun.  We go for a long walk every morning and I get to do lots of sniffing.  At night, we do a fairly long walk and then we have what she calls “couch time.”  I like couch time because I gets lots of rubs!  I’ve been a very good girl.” 

Jay and Chloe - Chloe was talking to me again this morning.  I think she really wanted my attention because she jumped up on the counter again…twice.  I think she is missing you.  Jay is doing just fine:  I have the routine down, let her out so she can pee and poop and then I throw the ball for her.  She is very easy to please!
